Jeff Bird's Electrified EZ Sport Jeff Bird brought an EZ Sport with a large front windshield fairing and a 400 Watt front hub motor with a set of 30 D cell NiMH batteries in three PVC tubes. He cruises at about 16 mph, and with two battery packs (the second one sits on the rear rack) he has a range of about 40 miles with pedaling.
