Eric Ware's Super Micro Bike Eric Ware showed his Super Micro Bike, which now has a Streamer front windshield and a temporary cardboard tailcone fairing. The tailcone was originally longer (and heavier, and more prone to bouncing around and enlarging the rear axle holes that act as part of the mounting system). It had an eight degree taper, but he was advised that you don't need anything much finer than a 15 degree taper for decent aerodynamics so he cut it shorter and is quite happy with this configuration. It now ends just ahead of the back edge of the rear wheel.
