Jane Stonich's LWB, with Sturmey Archer 5 Speed Hub Hub is a 28h NOS (New Old Stock) 1969 S5 found on Ebay, then fitted with an '80s S5/2 axle/sun gear assembly for better shifting. With 28 double butted spokes, a Sun Chinook rim labeled "For Race Use Only" and a kevlar beaded PanaRacer High-Road tire, this may be the lightest 26" wheel ever built around a steel shelled SA. Spring loaded chain tensioner is made from an old Huret DuoPar. It is needed due to vertical dropouts and to keep the chain from fouling the brake.
