Mike has had very little trouble with it so far, except for a tendency to loosen the spokes. Mark said that would be more of a problem with the large wheels he uses, and Mark and Jeff offered opposite opinions about whether to use the old trick of tying and soldering the spokes. Mike should at least keep the spokes quite tight.

I just (on 7-08-04) talked to Mike and he says that after an initial bedding in, spoke loosening is no longer a problem. This despite the rims being relatively light Sun CR-18s. Mark
