Mark Stonich had hoped to bring in the completed sidecar rig, but illness prevented him from finishing it on time. Instead he brought in a few more parts to show:

He showed the sidecar drive cranks again, which now have a home-built clutch (like a transmission synchromesh clutch) to allow the sidecar drive to be disconnected from the main drive. The pedals also have plastic heel cups and wide straps for added security. The bearings are sealed and lubed with $7/oz. aircraft grease to give 20 years of maintenance-free service.
