Recumbent Body Shell Project
Jon Nygren, Dave Krafft, and Jay Coleman are cooperating to build a mold for a Recumbent Body Shell Project.
The intent is to produce a shell in two halves, for sale. Once the tooling is done, replicas should be fairly easy to make in volume, for sale.
As of Dec 10th they were still shaping the styrofoam buck. Jon described how the design came about, how the rough shape was created from foam
slabs, and the steps they were taking to get both sides symmetrical.
Jon, (Whom I suspect was president of the Audio/Visual club in Junior High) gave us a multi-media presentation.
Styrofoam model, lots of hardcopy pictures and a "Slide show" produced by hooking up his digital camera to a television.
