Dave Siskind's Book & Bike

Dave Siskind announced/promoted his new book, a self-published volume on cycle touring in the Canadian Rockies based on several trips he has taken there.

Some of you may not be aware that Dave has a bit more biking experience than most of us. Over 400,000 miles worth. Do the rest of us, combined have that much? Mark

Dave came to the front again to show his Yellow Peril. A clone of Mark's early LWB recumbent that he built in '86 or '87 in the now almost mythic group brazing class with Dave Krafft and 10 others. He discussed all the changes he is considering to tweak the old design, including a new seat frame, an aluminum handlebar to replace his heavy steel one, and some fairly major frame mods to raise the bottom bracket and move it forward.
